Objectives
Having successfully
completed this unit you should be able to:
- Explain the difference (and similarities)
between strings and arrays of characters.
- Declare an array, define, interrogate and
change individual elements of an array.
- Declare and work with instances of the
String class.
- Implement Java programs illustrating the
manipulation of arrays and strings.
